The attached photo shows that this news clipping is a rather brief and to the point, short paragraph.
The article refers to the forthcoming performance already mentioned in my previous blog posts, however, there would appear to have been either a change of venue, or more likely, an incorrectly stated one. The event was due to take place on Sunday, June 13th at the Aldwych Theatre, not at the Duke of York’s Theatre.
In this newspaper clipping, the show has the clumsy title ‘Mime Parade, 280 BC to 1937 AD’ which would indeed fit in with the previous allusions to a demonstration of mime through the ages, but is not exactly a snappy title.
