This past week I have been extremely busy with the technical side of publishing a book.
There is an awful lot more to it than I expected and at times it is overwhelming.
My manuscript for the biography has been printed out on to paper since before the New Year, and my task after finishing today’s blog post is to begin reading that paper version ready for a self edit.
I have also been practising MailerLite this morning. My friend has set up the technical side of it for me, but the content will be all mine. I plan to move away from Facebook, so if you would like to keep up with how the Irene Mawer work is going you are welcome to join me via the newsletter instead of Facebook (it’s free of charge and still no more than once per week).
As a thank you for staying with me, I have recorded a video of myself demonstrating one of Miss Mawer’s hand exercises. It was a mixture of fun and stress – as I am in the Spanish mountains at the moment, so you will see me outside my camper van. It is some forty years since I last did that exercise in a formal manner – so I hope that I have done Miss Mawer, and my teacher, Mrs Durling, proud.
Once everything is set up, I will let you know. Until then, I will continue with the Facebook posts. See you here next week!
