Free book – the Art of Mime by Irene Mawer

Would you like to read an on-line version of the Art of Mime? If so, it is possible via the Internet Archive. Don’t worry – there’s no catch, and you won’t be scammed or bombarded with dud emails (or at least, I haven’t been!).

The Internet Archive, also sometimes called the ‘Wayback Machine’, is an American digital library which aims to give access to knowledge to everyone, free of charge. It provides free public access to digital materials, including websites, software, apps, games, music, films, videos, and … millions of books. One of which is by Irene Mawer! I haven’t yet tried out the other available items, but I wanted to tell you all about the book because I would love you to be able to read it for free.

If you want to read a book which is not yet in the library, you can click on a tab entitled ‘Want to read’. I am guessing that if the book ever gets digitalised and put into their library, then you will receive an email. And perhaps if enough people click on Irene Mawer’s books, asking to read them, perhaps someone will try and get them digitised for us. Maybe.
