Irish Mime. 26 September 1938

Irish Daily Telegraph, Belfast

Even the tiniest of news paper articles could find its way into Miss Mawer’s cuttings scrapbook – sneaking in here thanks to the person in question being a Fellow of the Institute of Mime.  We learn of Miss Burgess (presumably Helga who I have written about in various earlier posts) who is declared to be “an actress of considerable note”.

She is also the director of the “brilliant company of medley artists who call themselves Panache”.
