Rare Photo

Well!  Here is a turn-up for the books.  This newspaper article has a photo of Irene Mawer.  I have never seen this photo before and it is an extremely rare occurrence to see Mawer’s photo anywhere at all.  And guess what?  I have failed to note which newspaper and what date.  What a tragedy.    What an idiot.

Anyway, the tiny paragraph states that Miss Mawer, mime expert, will lecture on the subject in Northampton (at the Exeter Hall), followed by visits to schools in nearby Corby, Kettering and Daventry.

I can’t believe that I was so idiotic as to neglect to note the date of publication but I would guess the 1930s.
